Kevin O'Brien - Finance Ministry
Kevin O'Brien was born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, and moved to the Chicago area in 1947. He currently works as the president of his family business out of Farmington Hills. He married his wife Donna in 1964, and had three children: Kevin (1965), Sean (1968-2010), and Chris (1972). Kevin having attended Brighton Christian Church since 2001, was asked to join the elder board in 2009. Shortly after becoming an inactive elder in 2016, the elder board asked Kevin to serve as the director of the finance team.
As the finance director, Kevin's heart for the people of BCC, is that they would clearly understand the tithe and its relationship to the proper and successful operation of the body of Christ in our effort to reach the lost locally and globally, as well as be a haven where our members can worship, fellowship, serve, and learn God's Word.
Kevin's favorite bible verse: Micah 6:8 "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God"

Colleen Beauvais - Compassion Ministry
Colleen Beauvais is originally from Westland, Michigan. She married her husband, Ken, in June of 2010, and has two step-children: Karli (1992), and Kenny (1998). She has been attending Brighton Christian Church since 2010, and became a deacon in 2018.
Colleen has a heart for people who are suffering or in difficult situations. Her desire is that nobody in her church body would feel they have to walk through trials alone, but that they would feel loved and cared for. She wants to share Christ’s love with people in and outside of her congregation. She longs for all to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Colleen's life/favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me"
